A correct and appealing saloon, with an original, undisturbed feel, and an air of quality. The coachwork is in sound condition, with division & occasional seats, and has large glass area, giving a light interior and good visibility. Older paint, and mostly original brown leather interior. Impressive set of lamps, a full set of Ace wheel discs and ‘proper’ Dunlop tyres all add to the attraction. Already running nicely, but just out of a few years storage, to be re-commissioned and newly MoT tested before sale, serviced and ready to go. History file includes an old green logbook, invoices, letters, and a lovely handbook.

Snippets:   Ordered for use by Messrs H E Nunn & Co of Manchester, by 1947 the car was registered to a J. Walsh of Accrington, there is a record that a family by that name ran Yates Confectioners of Accrington – perhaps they are the one & same.  In 1959 the car had moved to London & was registered to the well known Literary Agents – Eric Glass Ltd (founded in 1932) who used to represent Edward Woodward OBE & whose current clients include authors, play-wrights & actors both of screen & stage.  Who knows what well-known names have sat in the car.
