1978 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II Saloon.
A really lovely, well cared-for example in the attractive, original colour scheme of Cardinal red with beige leather, piped red, with red carpets and lambswool over-rugs, all as per the original specification. Cardinal red is an attractive, quite deep shade, which we feel suits the car better than the name of the colour might suggest, and a refreshing change from the browns and golds, typical of the period. The car has covered just 48,000 miles from new, backed up by suitable documentation in the form of three ring binder folders of invoices, a virtually complete run of MoT certificates, etc. Not to be confused with the average examples out there, this car is excellent, very sound and smart as well as being structurally very good, wonderfully solid underneath and driving really nicely. MoT tested until November 2020. We have the feeling that 'proper' examples such as this may well prove to be good investments as well, offering useability, comfort, style and value for money.
