Quite a rare example, with 4.9 litre engine, automatic gearbox and power steering, a combination only available of the late model Silver Wraiths. The car needs some re-commissioning and cosmetic attention following a period of storage, but has plenty of potential, particularly as a wedding hire car, being very spacious, grand in appearance, but at the same time incorporating post-war practicality and driving ease. Runs and drives around our yard, feels good, and should be a relatively straightforward refurbishment project.

Chassis No. FLW67.                                    Reg No. UUF 3.                         £19,500.

Snippets:   Delivered to Allen West & Co of Brighton, an electrical company founded in 1910 by Allen West which specialised in motor control & switch gear.  During WWI, Allen West manufactured armaments in addition to their standard items.  During WWII they developed radar equipment & supplied parts for the pre-fabricated invasion harbour, (which was code named “Mulberry”).  This harbour was assembled off Selsey prior to D day.
