A late example of a coachbuilt Dawn, in good, clean condition, and very nicely painted in ivory and parchment, a colour scheme which really suits the car. In some ways, the design is reminiscent of the current R-R Phantom, particularly the frontal aspect, which adds an extra layer of interest! Sound body and underbody, running well, and comes with handbook and an impressive selection of original tools. Automatic transmission, and retro-fitted with air conditioning.  Being one of the last, it also has the twin exhaust system. Different, rare and interesting. Just fitted with five new radial tyres, and MoT tested until May 2009.

Chassis No. SRH68.                              Reg No. PXD 94.                         £29,500.

Snippets: Shipping – Steel - School After the car was displayed on the James Young Stand at the Earls Court Motor Show in 1954 it found a new home with H P Lenaghan & Sons Ltd, Belfast .  A shipping company  whose ships ended up in such diverse places as Sydney, Hong Kong & Pakistan! In 1957 the registered owner was F H Lloyd & Co Ltd a steel foundry dating from 1879 that specialised in steel casting. Later that same year the car was registered to a H P R Scott at Mowden Hall which was built by E. Pease a wealthy Quaker, in 1935 the Hall became a prep school.
