A rare, a sought-after ‘SCT100’ design, on a long wheelbase chassis. Rather than the ‘usual’, (but still rare) limousine, this is a saloon, without division, and incorporates a sunroof. Old - quite possibly original - good quality paintwork in black, and trimmed in beige cloth front and rear, as specified when new.   The car is sound, unmolested and correct, runs well and is very appealing. We have just imported it from the USA, where it has been with one owner for more than thirty years, who we understand  acquired it directly from the original purchaser, making it a two owner car. Offered newly MoT tested.

Chassis No. LCB6.                                                                        £45,000.

Snippets:  Ordered for the use of Sir Harold Samuel, founder & chairman of Land Security Investment Trust Ltd.  Sir Samuel started the company in 1944 at which time he owned 3 properties in Kensington, by his prudent purchase of companies, land & properties LSIT Ltd is one of the UK’s leading property companies & includes New Scotland Yard, Devonshire House, Clive House (Passport Office) & the Bullring in Birmingham  in it’s portfolio.  His cousins Basil & Howard were the founders of the Great Portland Estates.
