Specialist dealers in early Rolls-Royce and Bentley cars. 1964 Rolls-Royce Phantom V Mulliner Park Ward Limousine. Click on the images below to enlarge them. To return to this page afterwards, click the 'back' button on your browser. Note: The car is now fitted with blackwall tyres, as shown, but we can offer it with either. A really good, sound example of a late, twin-headlamp Phantom V, clean & smart, finished in pale Champagne and very dark grey, (almost black), with very good beige leather to front and excellent cloth to rear. Mechanically, the car is very good in all respects, and drives particularly well. Currently has Dutch registration papers as well as UK, and is MoT tested until June 2012. A fine example, not to be mistaken for the average cars out there, and offering great value for money. Ready to go. Chassis No. 5VC25. Reg No. ACU 386B. £57,500. Snippets: Bilton Prefab
& Meaford Hall Ordered by Percy Bilton an entrepreneur who in the 1920s
& 30s started a small construction firm which specialised in Prefab Homes
& grew to become one of the largest construction & property firms in the
UK. The 1960s was a time of great expansion for Percy with his company being
involved in construction in S.Africa, Canada, Europe & the USA, during this
period the company purchased Meaford Hall in Staffordshire which they used as
their headquarters for some 25 years. This
17th Century Grade II property was the birth place of Admiral John
Jervis (1735/1823) who is best known for his role in the defeat of the Spanish
at the Battle of Cape St Vincent, Portugal in 1797, the Admiral died without an
heir & the title & estate was inherited by his nephew Edward Jarvis who
via his mother (Mary
Cassandra Twisleton Fiennes) can claim a
blood-tie to Ranulph & Ralph Fiennes. After
250 years of occupation by the Jervis family, in 1943 Meaford was sold; prior to
the Biltons purchasing the Hall in the 1960s it was occupied by the US Airforce
& then a school. In 1962, Percy
founded The Percy Bilton Charity & until his death in 1982 took a keen
personal interest in its activities, the Charity is still in existence today.
Both Percy’s son (Godfrey) & his grandson (Anton) have since
followed in his footsteps with their own portfolio properties which include
Listed Buildings, Restaurants, Car Parks, Offices & Hotels to name but a
few. Would you like more information? Go to 'Contact
