A very smart, handsome, solid and correct limousine, with very good paintwork, and absolutely excellent interior in lovely condition, black leather to front and beige cloth to rear with sheepskin over rugs. The door fit is superb, closing with a lovely ‘clunk’, emphasising the quality of the coachwork. The car has won various awards in the past, and comes with receipts for over $60,000 spent by the last owner in the 1990s and 2000s, as well as other items of history, including mileage logs, etc. Since the last owner’s purchase in 1992, the car has covered just 4,500 miles. Lovely!

Chassis No. 3CM33.                                                                                  £59,500.

Snippets:   Ordered by Mjr J.F. Harrison, whose grandfather Thomas & great-uncle James founded the T&J Harrison Line in 1853. In 1857 they purchased their first iron ship the “Philosopher” which had been built by Thomas Vernon of Liverpool. This vessel heralded the passing of the era of wooden ships & she traded to India throughout her career which ended in 1879 when she was shipwrecked. As a result of many mergers & company consolidations within the shipping industry the once great Harrison Line finally disappeared in 2000. Mjr John Harrison served with the Royal Guards & was POW in Crete in 1941 but his most challenging role was as the father of no less than 8 daughters!  Through his daughters' various marriages the family are related to the bloodlines of the Milbourne-Swinnerton-Pilkingtons, the Marquess of Abergavenny, the Earl De La Warr & the Earl of Donegall.
