An
extremely rare opportunity to acquire an un-restored, unmolested ‘M series’
Overdrive Derby Bentley. Built in 1939, but not registered until February 1940,
five months after the outbreak of war. Although in need of fairly major
renovation, the body is sound, no ‘sag’ in the doors, despite the slender
construction, and the car is correct, complete and attractive. The wheels have
recently been painted and fitted with new tyres, but otherwise the car is as
found after a long period of storage. The engine is
running, and sounds good. We love cars such as this in just out of hibernation
condition, and we hope you do as well!
